Arias Nomination for Vectis Radio

The shortlist for the Audio and Radio Industry Awards has been revealed with Vectis Radio being nominated for an ARIAS for the second consecutive year in the community radio station of the year category. In 2023, Vectis won Gold, marking the first time the award was given out by the Radio Academy. 
Station Manager Ian Mac has expressed pride in the nomination, emphasising the significance of being recognised amidst a thriving community radio industry. He described it as a real honour and a testament to the station's consistency and growth, we have an amazing team. The ARIAS are the UK audio and radio awards presented annually to recognise, honour and reward outstanding shows and the teams behind them.  Judged by over 200 senior audio and radio practitioners, drawn from all sectors of the industry, it is a huge accolade to be nominated.
The ARIAS are open to all UK-based content creators who are members of The Radio Academy. 

The awards evening scheduled for Tuesday 7th May in London.
