At 10am on Saturday 4th November 2017 Vectis Radio Launched their FM Service on Time and Under budget. 8 Years on we have a Gold Arias Award for Community Station of The Year and 7 Community Radio Golds to go with our Queens Award for Voluntary Service justifying our licence. Relive the the moment former 4ps student Hannah ‘Banana’ Barker pushed to magic button.
Before the FM launch we put foundations down for The Transmitter but first we had to dig a hole, thanks to Graham Apple and Ron Bowler.
We also had to get the stations studio ready for FM, a massive transformation thank you to everyone that helped out.
