Best to always check in with your chosen Public Transport if you are going on an important journey.

Road closures and Diversions

Until the 4th July there is a one way system in place between Newport and Cowes. If you are travelling from Newport to Cowes there is a diversion in place that takes you along Forest Road, Whitehouse Road, Rolls Hill and Pallance Road. Follow the diversions and leave a little bit of extra time for your journey at peak times. There is no change if you are travelling from Cowes to Newport.

In Gurnard Woodvale Road from Baring Road to Jordan Close. Until 0:00 on 29th July.

In Cowes Shooters Hill between its junction with Cross Street and its junction with Beckford Road.

Temporary lights

In Newport Medina Way near The Hospital. Expect delays. Until 15:00 on 30th May.

In  Northwood on The B3325 Nodes Road both ways at Uplands Road. Until 0:00 on 6th June.

Binstead Road Ryde  both ways from West Street to Pellhurst Road.

In Wootton on Park Road both ways between Lushington Hill and Briddlesford Road. Until 23rd May.

There are plenty of other temporary lights that are put in from time to time with no notice. Please take care.
