Coffee Mornings at Vectis Radio

Come along to the Next Vectis Radio coffee morning on November 5th between 10am-12pm and see behind the scenes how it all works, chat to some of the presenters and each other. You may even go live on air… If you wish.

Although parking is FREE. You MUST register your car at The Riverside Centre reception or you will be fined £100. Vectis Radio will not be held responsible for any fines.

Enjoy a cuppa and some biscuits. (There may even be cake) All we ask is for a minimum £1 donation to keep your community radio station running.

Plus you can now buy a Vectis Radio lanyard for only £2 with a free car sticker.

The Coffee mornings were started by Vectis Radio presenter Maggie Currie to help the community feel connected to the station.

“I began them as an idea to spread awareness and get people into the station to see how it all works from behind the scenes.  We have gained 4Ps students from this and of course some presenters including Ron Leleux”.

The monthly event was stopped due to COVID-19 and replaced by monthly gathering online through Zoom. However we are now taking a big step towards normality. So if you are interested in seeing how the station runs, whether just to have a look or because you are interested in joining the team, feel free to come along to our next event.
