''The Garlic Festival is back on the weekend of the 20th and 21st August. It's always the island's biggest summer show, with a host of fabulous bands playing each day on the main stage. For the kids, there's the Camp Garlic stage too, with lots of free activities for the kids, including Crafting, storytelling, Punch and Judy, David Randini. As if that's not enough, there's dressing up, singalongs and dancing. Arena acts include Europe's leading BMX show, a jaw dropping performance from the world's best riders. The Vander's wheel of death is there too, along with all your favourite animals, birds and an actual dog show. Obviously there's plenty of garlic, and the theatre kitchen features local celebrity chef, Robert Thompson alongside some great local food producers. There's lots of great grub to eat or take home, and a huge bar. On Sunday, there's even Titan the robot, he's always a hit for the whole family. Tickets on the gate or in advance at garlicfestival.co.uk, whatever else you do, don't miss the Garlic Festival!
