Best to always check in with your chosen Public Transport if you are going on an important journey.

Road closures and Diversions

Until the 4th July there is a one way system in place between Newport and Cowes. If you are travelling from Newport to Cowes there is a diversion in place that takes you along Forest Road, Whitehouse Road, Rolls Hill and Pallance Road. Follow the diversions and leave a little bit of extra time for your journey at peak times. There is no change if you are travelling from Cowes to Newport.

In Gurnard Woodvale Road from Baring Road to Jordan Close. Until 0:00 on 29th July.

In Gatcombe Whitcombe Road from Sandy Lane (Gatcombe) to Nunnery Lane (Carisbrooke). Until 0:00 on 30th May.

Temporary lights

In Newport Medina Way near The Hospital. Expect delays. Until 15:00 on 30th May.

In  Northwood on The B3325 Nodes Road both ways at Uplands Road. Until 0:00 on 6th June.

There are plenty of other temporary lights that are put in from time to time with no notice. Please take care.
