Islanders of all ages and abilities are invited to try wheelchair basketball with the Southern Sharks on Thursday 7 March at West Wight Sports and Community Centre, Freshwater from 1–3pm.
The National League team will provide sports wheelchairs and show you just how fast-paced and fun this inclusive sport can be. You don’t even need to be a wheelchair user to join in!
Island athlete Gary Butler, who plays for GB Masters and Help for Heroes Veterans, will be on hand to inspire participants and help grow the sport locally.
