More Information (Vectis Radio is not responsible for external websites)

From the 26th to the 28th of May, eight‑year‑old Oliver and his dad will be cycling a full lap of the Isle of Wight — around 110 kilometres — in memory of Oliver’s granddad, who passed away earlier this year.

They’re raising money for the St George’s Hospital Cardiac Unit, whose staff cared for him with exceptional kindness and compassion.

The challenge was Oliver’s idea, and he’s been training hard to take it on. If you spot them along the route, a wave or a shout of encouragement will give him a huge lift as he tackles the miles.
