Our Awards

Only since launching on FM back in 2018 have we qualified to enter the Community radio awards. Since then we have had some quite remarkable achievements.

In 2025, we were nominated for four awards and at the ceremony in Bradford we walked away with two golds, one silver and one bronze

In 2024 were received five nominations including station of the year for the third year in a row so a trip to Cardiff was in order that became away with three awards two bronze and one silver.

In 2023 we were nominated for five awards. It was a bumper evening. We came away with one gold two silvers and a bronze after a trip to Newcastle.

2022 we received nine nominations, which is the highest amount that we have ever achieved still, we took a trip to Bedford and we came away with two golds, one silver and the bronze.

In 2021 we went nominated for eight awards which wasn't bad considering this was only our third awards ever we took a trip to Coventry and enjoyed a successful evening where we were rewarded our first gold which went to Kelvin Currie for our sage entry and the 4PS when it's first ever gold

In 2020 we received nine nominations this year. There was no trip anywhere as the award ceremony took place online because of Covid. It was still a very successful evening for the station

In 2019 we received three nominations the second nomination for the 4PS Radio training school this year we took a trip to Barry Island in Wales.

In 2018 the very first year we were allowed to enter the awards that took place in Sheffield we were nominated for the 4PS. Nobody had heard of us, but they did after the ceremony because we were awarded a bronze in our very first attempt.
