Fun and Enjoyment 

The young inspectors had a great time at this activityand felt that it was really interesting. The session was busy and engaging with other young people attending the session and 2 adults working alongside them with different tasks and activities. 

They had the opportunity to be on the radio show and be actively involved in recording the 4P’s session to go out between 6-7 pm on the Saturday and Sundayand also record a Christmas message which will be played through December.

None of the young inspectors had ever been before and they said that it was really fun and they liked talking on air about a variety of topics and having the opportunity to record a podcast. They said it was a great experience of radio and they would definitely go again and they loved that they could listen to the recording on the radio with their family at the weekend. 

Accessibility 

The venue and toilet facilities are accessible for a wheelchair. The session is adapted to meet the individual needs of the young people, and the staff will make any necessary adjustments to be able to meet their needs. The start time was convenient for 2 of the young inspectors but one suggested that it would be better if it didn’t run across the lunch time but appreciated that young people would appreciate a lay in on a Saturday and not to have to get there too early. They all said that at £6 it was really good value for a 3 hour session. 

Safety and surroundings

The young inspectors were warmly welcomed by both the staff and the other young people attending the session and that they felt very safe in the session.

Safety advice was emailed to the parent and shared with the young people prior to the session. Safety advice was clearly visible on the walls andinstructions that were given to them were clear.
