Fire Engine Pull

Join the Wight Brainy Bunch and be part of the ultimate team challenge this Summer with their Fire Engine Pull Fundraiser, taking place on Saturday 25th July at Newport Quay.

Making its debut on our events calendar, the Fire Engine Pull will challenge teams of 10 to race against the clock as they attempt to pull an 18-tonne fire appliance a distance of 50 metres in the fastest time. The event is set to be a thrilling spectacle, bringing together friends, families, colleagues, and local organisations for this fun fundraiser.

This brand-new event promises an exciting day of teamwork, community spirit, and fundraising with live music throughout the day from some of the Islands best bands, local stallholders, licensed bar & food vendors, kids entertainment and of course the big pull itself!
