Moments of Movement

Rosemary Lawrey’s sketchbooks are filled with energetic drawings from life as it moves around her as she moves around Thé Island, on foot, by bus or by train. Her mixed media artworks, large and small, are abstracted from those sketches and are themselves full of movement and energy - a group of footballers on a beach, a seagull preening its feathers on a post, the movement of water, or what lurks beneath. Saturday 13 June is the final day of this exhibition so come and enjoy a coffee and a moment of stillness amidst these exciting images.
