Interested in becoming a Wholetime Firefighter? Come to our recruitment open day at Ryde fire station on Saturday 16 May and learn more about the role and get hands-on with firefighting equipment. On the day you can:
Get advice on how to apply and prepare for interviews.
Ask current firefighters any questions you have.
Try out the practical selection tests included in the recruitment process.
Learn more about the various aspects of a firefighter’s role
Each recruitment event is three hours and there will be a 10am and 2pm session to choose from.
