Alan Lock

Alan is a born and bred caulkhead with a keen interest in history. In fact he lives in the past, listening to old records, watching black and white films and driving classic vehicles.

Alan has just joined the Vectis Radio family in order to fulfil a lifetime ambition to have his own radio show. Growing up through the pirate radio era, his heroes were DJs like Kenny Everett, Johnnie Walker and Emperor Rosko.

He has a keen sense of humour and wants to bring something different and perhaps bizarre to the local radio airwaves, with a mix of music across his favourite decades, the 1940s 1950s and the swinging 60s.

They’ve since gone on to headline a major festival stage, delivering a performance that solidified their place as one of the most compelling new acts to watch. The long awaited release of their debut single “Cave” is here , and is being played on Vectis Radio 20 April 2026
