At Vectis Radio, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to get involved, have their voice heard and enjoy the things they are passionate about.

Hi, I’m Leo. I’m visually impaired, but that has never stopped me from getting involved in the things I enjoy. I’ve been part of Vectis Radio for several years and have found radio and podcasting to be a fantastic way to be creative, meet people and share ideas.

I’m passionate about music and musical theatre, both as a listener and performer, and I also have a keen interest in transport, particularly buses, trains and aviation.

Through my regular podcasts, I talk about accessibility, everyday experiences and subjects that interest me. I hope they can help raise awareness, encourage conversation and give people a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities surrounding accessibility.

Accessibility is about making sure people are able to participate, contribute and feel included. My experience has shown me that having a disability does not have to be a barrier to getting involved. With the right support, understanding and opportunities, everyone can make a valuable contribution.

At Vectis Radio, we want to continue creating an environment where people of all abilities feel welcome and encouraged to get involved.
