James Harwood

James grew up in Guildford, Surrey, where his passion for radio began at a young age after visiting a local station broadcasting from the town centre. Encouraged to join hospital radio, he started with Radio Lion, gaining valuable experience and confidence on air.
In 2004, James moved to the Isle of Wight, where he later joined Vectis Radio, becoming a valued member of the team. He now presents the Tea Time Show every Thursday from 4 to 6pm, sharing music and conversation with the Island community.
Alongside his broadcasting, James is an active volunteer on the Isle of Wight, supporting local causes including Shanklin Rotary Club and Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, where he helps with maintenance and upkeep.
