Sam Cottrell

Hello! I’m Sam, and I’m delighted to be part of the Vectis Radio breakfast team. My official job is co-presenter. My unofficial job is keeping Stevie Steve in check. 

I’ve always believed mornings are much better with good music, a proper laugh and at least one cup of coffee that’s gone cold because I’ve been talking too much.

When I’m not behind the microphone, I run my own stationery business which means I spend my days surrounded by colourful paper, fancy pens and enough stickers to fill a small village in West Wight. Apparently, turning paper into happiness is a real job and somehow I managed to make it one!

I’m naturally curious, so I love discovering unusual facts, hearing people’s stories and finding those wonderfully random conversations that so

ed in the car on the way to work or found yourself singing far louder than you intended, then we’re already on the same wavelength.

Joining the breakfast show has been an exciting new adventure, and I can’t wait to share it with you. So whether you’re driving to work, walking the dog, doing the school run or still trying to remember where you left your keys, come and spend your mornings with us.
