More Vectis Success

Vectis Radio are celebrating four more awards on the six anniversary of their launch on FM. It was bronze last year for station of the year but this year one better with a silver. There was also a silver in the community impact category. Maggie Currie was awarded gold in the volunteer of the year category, and Phil Norris, who only started Radio in March of this year was given a bronze for Newcomer of the year

Ian Mac said I am so proud of our achievements, but especially Proud of this year’s because every year it gets harder to improve on the previous year. I don’t know how we improve for next year but we will give it a go, I think I said that last year. 

Kelvin Currie said to accept a gold on my wife. Maggie‘s behalf was a really special moment, and I hope that she can be at the next next years ceremony, to pass on the baton.
